On October 4, Ryan competed in the 2008 King of the Coast, held at parklands on the Gold Coast by RACELINE promotions….
With the event shedule running well behind time, the Pro riders copped the short straw, with limited practise and only 1 run to decide the out come, Ryan put together an inovative run including a Indian air o one hand lander of the mini bike ramp… this enough to see him get in 1 extra jump than the rest of the field and take out 3rd place for the pro event….
